  • Ohio Retail Cannabis Licenses- On April 19th, 2021, the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved increasing the number of dispensary licenses in Ohio by 73. A RFA will be published in the spring/summer of 2021. Real estate will be required as well as comprehensive Business, Operating, and Security Plans.   • New Jersey Cannabis Licenses- On February 22, 2021, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed into law 3 bills to legalize recreational cannabis. Municipalities will have 180 days to opt-in or opt-out of the cannabis program. The Cannabis Regulatory Commission must establish rules for the program. It is estimated that a new cannabis business licensing window will open around September 20th of this year.  It is expected the RFA will be published under the Alternative Treatment Center section of the Division of Medicinal Marijuana

  • New York Adult-Use Cannabis Licenses - On April 1st, 2021, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill to legalize recreational cannabis in New York. This established the Office of Cannabis Management. Municipalities have until December 31st, of 2021 to opt-out of adult-use legalization.  More information can be found at the Office of Cannabis Management
